At Pizza Beppe we love our classics, and of course the tiramisu cannot be missed.

Tiramisu is the world’s most famous dessert and it is considered a modern dessert par “excellence”. There are several stories about the origin of tiramisu, but we believe the one that it was created by a chef in the city of Treviso, near Venice. “Tireme su” comes from the Treviso dialect and it literally means “pick me up”. To make it more delicious, we have homemade tiramisu that consists of layers of espresso-dipped ladyfingers, a creamy mixture of mascarpone and a dash of Amaretto topped with cacao.

Because of it's popularity the tiramisu even made it to the Guinness Book of World Records. The record for the longest tiramisu measures 273m. That is about 84% of the height of the Eiffel Tower. Of course, an international tiramisu day cannot be missed and will be celebrated on March 21st.
